What Does the following ultrasound Report Indicate?
Had many of scans and tests and still have a extremely painful shoulder, had 4th cortisone injection and lasting less and less and no pain relief works ??? See results from ultrasound today below: DOB: 11/09/1986 Patient Referred from: ADUD6-W Exam performed at: North Shore Hospital Radiology Reference: R0000 Date of exam: 22/03/2016 Examination(s) included in this report: US Shoulder Right INDICATION: Adhesive capsulitis not responding to steroid injections. FINDINGS: Symptomatic right side: Long head of Biceps: Normal Subscapularis: Normal Supraspinatus: 4 x 2 mm area tendinosis. Otherwise normal. Infraspinatus: Normal Subdeltoid bursa: Trace of fluid AC joint: Normal COMMENT: Minimal supraspinatus tendinosis. Otherwise normal examination. No evidence of rotator cuff tear.
